We've gotten a great response to The NY Times article everyone!  People have been writing in from all over the metropolitan area, wanting to know how they can join our fight!

Check out this video recently shot by John from Jersey City which shows the extreme frequency of these sightseeing tours.  There are 4 of them in a 3-minute window.

Tourist helis fly below FAA proscribed altitudes

Non-essential NYC Tourist helicopters flying at low altitude around well below 700 feet altitude South bound and very close to NJ shoreline at downtown Jersey City waterfront over Hudson River. Extreme number in frequency of helicopters. I am only pointing out South Bound flights and I can clearly hear North Bound helicopters by Battery Park City also with my windows closed.

I also would like to point out a major potential risk from these helicopter flights due to close proximity to one of the heavily populated areas in the world. We all read about what happened to News helicopter crash in Seattle today!

http://abcnews.go.com/US/helicopter-crashes-seattle-space-needle/story?id=22954771

Planenoise.com is useless reporting these complaints because it does not remedy anything. I personally sent over 400 complaints using this system since Nov 6 2013 but nothing has been done. Helicopters might move a hundred feet more center of Hudson for an hour or two only to move back close to shore flying over Hyatt hotel in Jersey City. None of them, I repeat not a single one of them are observing 900 feet altitude flying South bound as suggested by the FAA. Light blue color tour helicopter has been flying under 600 feet over Hyatt  hotel all day today!
